Dr Patricia Cronemeyer

After passing her first state examination in law in Regensburg in 2002, Dr Cronemeyer worked for the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg for three years as office manager and research assistant. Her responsibilities included legislative procedures in areas such as foreign affairs, human rights, common security and defence policy. Dr Cronemeyer was also responsible for press and public relations.

She then moved to the legal department of the world’s leading subsidiaries of the SGS Group in Germany.
During her legal clerkship, Dr Cronemeyer further developed her interest in media law at the Hamburg Higher Regional Court in the Senate for Press and Family Law. She also worked at the Competition Chamber of the Hamburg District Court.

After the second state examination in 2007, Dr Cronemeyer worked as an attorney in the Hamburg law firm specialising in media law under Professor Dr Matthias Prinz where she supported a large number of court proceedings, including complex claims for damages for pain and suffering in the event of serious and persistent invasions of personal privacy by the media. In 2009 she founded the law firm Cronemeyer Rechtsanwälte (since summer 2014 trading as Dr. Cronemeyer & Grulert Rechtsanwälte).
Patricia Cronemeyer has served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Tier-Kompetenz AG since November 2017.

Stephan Grulert

In 1995, while he was still studying law, Stephan Grulert was already hired by the legal department of Warner Music Germany. In 1999, he went to Paris for Warner, to work in the legal department of Erato Disques. He then moved to the London headquarters of Warner Music International in 2001 as Director Business & Legal Affairs. In 2003, Michael Haentjes brought him to Hamburg as Head of Legal at edel Music AG. In 2006, he left to join EMI in Cologne as General Counsel GSA.

Stephan Grulert also served on the Advisory Board of the German rights management organisation GVL from 2005 to 2013, and was a member of Swissperform’s specialist group of phono producers. He represented EMI on the Legal Committee of the Federal Association of the Music Industry. Concurrently to this, he became Vice President of IFPI in Austria and Switzerland and was Chairman of the Board of Directors of EMI Music Switzerland AG. Stephan Grulert has been a partner in the law firm Cronemeyer & Grulert since 2014. His clients include national and international media companies as well as prominent artists from across all genres. He also represents entrepreneurs in commercial criminal cases

Stephan Grulert sits on the executive board of Helping Health e.V. and represents Kinderlachen e.V. and Eagles Golf Charity e.V. in legal matters.

He teaches at the Academy for Journalism in Hamburg.
